Van Life Campsites UK (vanlifecampsites.co.uk) is a directory of van-friendly campsites, aires, wild spots, and farm stays across the United Kingdom. We are not a campsite operator and do not take bookings on behalf of listed site owners.

What data we collect

When you submit a listing, we collect: your name, email address, business/site details, and payment information (processed by Stripe — we do not store card details). When you browse the site, we may collect anonymised analytics data (page views, device type).

How we use your data

Listing owner data is used to create and manage your listing, process payment, and communicate with you about your listing. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

Stripe payments

Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. We do not receive or store payment card details. Stripe's privacy policy applies to all payment transactions.

Cookies

We may use essential cookies for site functionality. Analytics cookies (if used) are anonymised and do not track individuals.

Data retention

Listing data is retained for the duration of the listing plus 12 months. Payment records are retained as required by HMRC for 6 years.
