Directory listings

Operators are responsible for ensuring that listing details, prices, availability, photographs and access information are accurate and lawful to publish. We may review, edit, suspend or remove a listing to protect travellers and directory quality.

Direct enquiries

A traveller who follows an operator's own website or contact link deals directly with that operator. Van Life Campsites is not a party to that booking and does not charge commission on it.

Managed booking requests

An operator may opt in to managed booking requests. When enabled, Van Life Campsites introduces the traveller, helps confirm the stay and records the agreed guest price. The operator remains responsible for availability, site rules, safety, refunds and delivering the stay.

For a completed booking introduced and facilitated through the managed service, the operator agrees to pay the commission shown when they opt in. The launch rate is 10% of the total guest price. No commission is due when the request does not become a completed stay.

Payment and cancellation

No booking is confirmed merely because a traveller sends an availability request. The final price, payment route and applicable cancellation terms must be shown before confirmation. Any future online payment service will display its specific payment and refund terms before money is taken.
